We started the morning with a quick visit to the fire station. Our church sponsored breakfast, lunch and dinner for them and a few of the boys from the preschool ministry were given the opportunity to take thank you cards and visit the fire station. Connor was one of them!
He stood in amazement the whole time. The firemen were so good with the kids. He got the grand tour of both the firetruck and the ambulance. He was able to try on the fireman gear and sit in the truck. He took home a plastic, red hat and has been playing fireman ever since. It was definitely a highlight in his little life.
We forgot the camera but Shawn was able to grab a couple pictures with his phone...
