Our Fashion Darling

Summer has had an "eye" for fashion since her stroller days. She would sit in her stroller while I would try on shoes or clothes and either give her approval or shake her head saying, "Noooo Mommy." It was strange to me, but most often I would agree with my two year old.
She was probably about three when I pulled up her jeans one day to around her belly button. She gave me this horrified look and hiked them down to her hips...low riders already?

When it came time for Kindergarten, Shawn came up with the "brilliant" idea of letting her choose how she wanted her hair cut - we were thinking she would pick long or short. She says, "Side swiped bangs covering one eye." For Kindergarten?

She has been influential in picking her out her clothes for quite a while now. I let her...one less battle, you know? We say "No" to plenty of other things and granted the guidelines for clothes will take on new shape as she gets older, but for now, why not let her have fun? Her favorite outfits are jeweled, sequined or laced. The more different colors the better, but somehow it always kinda goes...in a Punky Brewster sort of way.

So here she is...our Fashion Darling...
