Mom and Dad came over yesterday and we had dinner together to celebrate Shawn's birthday. Mom knows Shawn's love of cake (or lack there of) so she brought him a homemade pumpkin pie complete with 29 candles. The kids were amazed at all the candles and marveled at how "big" Daddy was. To top it all off, Mom stayed and put the kids to bed while Shawn and I went out with friends from church. We arrived home later that night to three sleeping kids...what more can you ask for?!
