MOSH - The History

I have always loved history, so I was expecting to enjoy this. I had no idea when we started in the history section, however (probably because I didn't stop to read any signs) that it was specific Jacksonville history. That made it even more fascinating to me!

Starting with the Indians and going through the 50's...

Arrowheads and other things...
old things...
No touch...
Chloe would just randomly sit down in front of the things - like she belonged there. She was cracking us up...
Through out were replicas of rooms in middle class homes in Jacksonville during that time period...
Of course, Chloe spotted the baby...
Connor found a boat...
I thought this was interesting...
Before...
After...
They had a little old town all set up...
So men and older ladies could wear hats?
And women could smoke, spit and use bad language?
Summer saw this and said, "What is THAT?" Before we told her we made her take a picture with it...

(I guess it means you are getting old when things you used to have now are in a museum.)
Chloe had to pose by the typewriter too...

So different from today...
Not that much different from today....
We passed by quite a few of these and I waited for Summer to ask another "What is that?", but she never did. Not being able to contain myself any longer, I asked her. She quickly replied, "Big CDs I guess..."
I just took the kids down to the Florida Theater over the summer...however the sign out front read "Winnie the Pooh"...not Elvis...
So was that kinda neat...or am I just showing my geeky side?
